Thank you for your interest in the Good Ancestor Circle. Nebraskans For Peace and Stand In For Nebraska are partnering to offer a Good Ancestor Circle for white and white adjacent people to reflect on their individual attitudes and behaviors in the context of a society advancing white dominance. Anyone who wants to reflect on their own identity and behavior in society is warmly invited to join, knowing that the group will primarily be focused on how norms set by and internalized by awhite and white passing people shape individual’s behaviors. Participants will read the book, Me and White Supremacy, by Layla Saad, on their own and bring reflections and support to the group so that we can work on being a good ancestor.
