What is Faith Mission Camp?
Camp is an action-packed holiday filled with new experiences and time-tested activities as well as an exploration into the heart of the Christian message.
Located in a beautiful setting with plenty of outdoor space looking over the Galloway Hills, near the Cree Estuary and the Scottish Machars peninsula, we are passionate about young people having fun! Holidays are about chilling out, making friends and discovering and trying new things. At each camp there are fun day trips out, a chance to practice skills on our pool tables, table tennis tables and have experiences that will be remembered for a lifetime. At the centre of camp is the opportunity to discover what the Bible has to say, and its relevance for today. This is explored through age-appropriate interactive teaching, real life stories, discussions and questions.

Information for Parents
Applications
Please note that the child’s age is at the time of camp and a camper will not be booked until a deposit is paid and a full application and medical form is completed.
Leaders
Camp is run by experienced leaders, some of whom are full-time Christian workers, others are volunteers. There is a high ratio between leaders and children/ teenagers.
Health & Safety
The safety of your child is of utmost importance to us and taken seriously throughout the duration of the camp. The Faith Mission has a child protection policy and all leaders and helpers are subject to this and all adults are PVG checked. The Faith Mission also reserves the right to refuse any application and also ask a camper to leave the camp if there has been an undisclosed health problem or their behaviour is incompatible with the general enjoyment and well being of others. In this case the parent or guardian will be informed and collection arrangements must be made at their own expense.
Camp Life
All of our campers sleep indoors in central heated dorms where bunk beds are provided. In our facility there are hot showers, indoor multi purpose activities hall and games room. Our qualified kitchen staff provide a varied menu and we have a first aider on site. We also have a large outdoor games field.
Camp shop: is available to stock up on tuck and other goodies.
We have a camp bank for the safe-keeping of all campers pocket money.
For a distraction free enjoyment of camp, campers are not allowed their own phones. (We have a time everyday in the early evening when campers have access to their phones and can call home. If campers need to call home at other times they can speak to a leader who will facilitate this.)
Campers' own electrical items are not allowed (PAT testing requirement). If brought these will be kept by staff until the end of camp.
All monies, special food requirements and medication must be given to the staff at beginning of camp.
