Parents and Players are coming together to voice our strong support for Coach Matt Lee and to urge the Fairfax Virginia Union (FVU) board to reconsider their decision not to renew his contract for the 2025-26 soccer season. Coach Matt has had an immeasurable positive impact on our players, not only helping them grow as athletes, but also shaping their character, confidence, and love for the game. His dedication, knowledge, and ability to connect with players and families has made him a cornerstone of this club. Removing a coach of his caliber is a mistake that we, as parents and supporters, cannot ignore. By signing this petition, we are asking FVU leadership to listen to the voices of those directly impacted — the families and players who know firsthand the value Coach Matt brings to our club and community.
