    • This form is for current resident families intending to enroll for the 2026–2027 school year.

    • All residency documentation will be verified before electronic packets are sent via email. Allow 3-5 business days.

  • To protect the rights of students who genuinely reside within the Lanai Road boundaries, Lanai is required to verify each student's residential address (where the student sleeps). 

    District policy mandates all students enrolled at an LAUSD school must reside (sleep) full time at the residence provided in enrollment paperwork. This does NOT include:

    • Property owned by relative or friend (including grandparents home where the student may spend occasional nights)
    • Property under construction (non-habitable)
    • Propery owned but not full time residence of student (rented/leased/occupied by other people)
    • Property newly purchased but not occupied by parent/guardian and student(s)

    Home Visits: At times it may also be necessary to conduct home visits. As part of the home visit administration may interview neighbors, ask to see students room, belongings, and inquire how long they have lived in the home.

    Misrepresenting or providing falsified records of a student’s actual living location at any time will result in immediate enrollment at the school associated with your actual residence. Furthermore, any falsification of documents or misrepresentation of residency will prohibit you from enrolling or applying for a permit at Lanai Road for one calendar year following the violation.

  • Rental/Lease Agreement document must include:

    1. Parties Involved: Full legal names of landlord (lessor) and all tenants (lessee); including student(s) name

    2. Property Address: Full address of the rental property

    3. Lease Term: The duration of the lease agreement must be clearly stated, including the start and end dates (not expired), or if it's a month-to-month agreement

    4. Landlord and Tennant signatures: both parties must sign the lease for it to be valid

    5. Date of signing: The date when both parties signed the agreement

    Please also note that if your lease expires at any time during the school year, you will be required to provide an updated, valid lease agreement at that time to maintain enrollment.
