The results will be judged by persons unaffiliated with The Wilson House. You do not need to be present to win; the drop will be broadcast live (details TBA). All participants will be assigned a number and the link to the livestream will be shared prior to the event via email. The ball closest to the pin wins top prize ($2,000), second closes wins $1,000, and furthest from the pin wins 3rd prize ($500). In case of a tie, the balls in question will be dropped again. LEGAL DISCLAIMER: Participants must be 18 years of age or older to purchase a raffle and win the prize. All officers and members of the Board of the Wilson House of East Dorset are eligible to purchase tickets and win the prize; however, the independent judges who will decide the winners of the golf ball drop and any person who organizes, executes or works at the ball drop are ineligible to win. Verification of eligibility and identity, along with any information needed to comply with federal or state laws may be required before releasing the prize. By participating, each participant releases, discharges, indemnifies, and holds harmless the Wilson House of East Dorset and their parents, subsidiaries, successors, and affiliated companies/organizations, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives (collectively the “Releases”) from any and all liability, loss, harm, injury, damage, cost and expense whatsoever arising directly or indirectly from the receipt of the prize or participation in the golf ball drop.
