About us

The Champions of Tomorrow Scholarship Fund supports individuals who have grown up without a father figure, recognizing their resilience, perseverance, and determination to overcome challenges. This scholarship provides financial assistance and encouragement to empower recipients to pursue higher education, achieve their dreams, and inspire others with their strength and success.
Application Requirements:
- Personal Essay (400-600 Words)
- Proof of Enrollment or Recent Transcript
- Letter of Recommendation from a teacher, mentor, counselor, or community leader.
Awarding one $500.00 Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria:
- Have grown up without a father figure due to circumstances such as loss, abandonment, or estrangement.
- Minimum of 2.5 GPA must be a high school senior in Kalamazoo Public School District
- Proof of acceptence in a full-time undergraduate program, community college, or vocational school.
Deadline: Sunday April 26th 2026, 11:59pm.

Growing up without a father figure can present unique challenges, but it can also shape resilience, character, and determination.

Please describe your personal journey growing up without a father figure and how that experience has influenced who you are today. Share the obstacles you have faced, the lessons you have learned, and the strengths you have developed as a result.
