Grant applications for celebrations or projects will be assessed on how they:
Promote community involvement and cooperation
– Foster meaningful engagement and collaboration between children, families, schools, organisations, and/or community members.
Educate communities and raise awareness of children’s rights
– Highlight and promote the rights of children as outlined in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).
Demonstrate potential for positive impact
– Show how the activity will benefit children and the broader community, with a focus on inclusion, wellbeing, and outcomes.
Take place during Queensland Children’s Week 2025 (18–26 October)
– Events may occur one week before or after these dates if needed.
