6 week beginners to intermediate wheel class, begnners welcome but more experienced students are also welcome to come improve skills and technique. Small intimate class size of 5 students will allow for more individualized instruction. Each 3 hours class will include a short educational component and demo. Unfortunately, NO refunds. Missed classes can be substituted for 3 hour open studio for a maximum of one missed class. 25 pounds of white stoneware clay included with class. Maximum use of 50 pounds of white stoneware clay during the six week course. Additional 182 white stoneware clay available for purchase. Students will receive a personal storage shelf during the course and following the course will be responsible for disposing of unused clay unless they are continuing for another session. Clay can be repurposed by studio if requested. Studio glaze use allowed only. Glaze and firing is included for one shelf of work, additional pieces as per firing fee schedule. (See google doc link for class firing fee rules above). No commercial production permitted. PLEASE purchase own tools prior to course or tool kits will be available for sale on site. Suggested to bring your own towel and/or apron. Studio liability release form required prior to starting class.

6 Week independent study class for more experienced potters and ceramicists to improve skills and technique. HOURS AVAILABLE ON TUESDAY 10AM TO 1PM OR THURSDAYS 5-8 PM OR OTHER HOURS MAY BECOME AVAILABLE ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS. Studio work with teacher available for instruction or collaboration on projects as needed. Each 3 hours period can include a short educational component and demo as desired. Unfortunately, NO refunds. Missed classes can be substituted for 3 hour open studio for a maximum of two missed classes. 25 pounds of white stoneware clay included with class. Designed for people who already have some clay experience but can also be for those students at the beginning of there journey with clay, with approval of the instructor. One piece glaze and fired included per person. Additional pieces fired at 10 dollars per piece. Those students enrollled in a class can fire as per firing fee calculator. One on one 2 hour studio experience with pottery instructor who will introduce you to the basics of wheel. Try the basics of throwing a clay cylinder which can become a vase, mug or bowl.
