  • 2026 DBA Impact Awards -- Business & Community Service Award Nominations

    The Desert Business Association (DBA), the Desert’s LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce, presents annual awards in four categories to honor businesses, community organizations, and individuals for their impact in our communities AND the LGBTQ+ community. Below are the award descriptions and criteria.

    If you have nominees, please complete this survey. You do not need to nominate in all categories. NOMINATION DEADLINE IS MONDAY, MARCH 23, 2026.

    For each nominee, provide their name and a clear, detailed explanation of why they deserve the award. Include specific examples of their achievements and contributions that have positively impacted the LGBTQ+ community and the local business environment. Highlight how they demonstrate excellence, leadership, and a commitment to fostering inclusivity.

    All nominations will be considered, and each nominee only needs to be submitted once.

    The DBA Impact Awards will be presented on Monday, May 4, 2026, at the Palm Springs Convention Center. We hope to see you there!

    A business that has made a positive and significant impact on the Coachella Valley LGBTQ+ and business community. Describe why you are nominating this business for Business of the Year.   • 3. Outstanding Community Service Organization

    An organization, generally a nonprofit, serving the LGBTQ+ community that has made a positive and significant impact on the LGBTQ+ community. Describe why you are nominating this organization for Outstanding Community Service Organization. Please provide specific and ample information. Note: Nominee does not have to be a DBA member for consideration in this category.
