15th Perisher PEAK Festival, June Long Weekend
6 – 8 June 2025
Perisher Valley is in NSW, about 500km south of Sydney, 210km south of Canberra and 800km north of Melbourne via Tumut.
The Festival is presented by the Perisher Resorts Chamber of Commerce and is a series of small to medium size venues within the Perisher Resort.
Registrations for Perisher PEAK Festival 2024 are open and will close 30 March 2025. Notifications will be providedin April.
BACKGROUND
The 15th Perisher Peak Festival will be held in venues throughout Perisher Ski Resort during the opening weekend of the 2025 Australian snow season.
The festival begins on Friday afternoon and then continues at pace over Saturday and Sunday.
Artists will generally perform once per day. Concert performances range from 30 minutes to 90 minutes. Each artist will be scheduled for 2 to 3 performances in different venues around the Festival.
Audiences can range from 50 to 500... with overall attendance around 1000 per day.
FEES
Our artist budget is limited, so do not expect huge performance fees! Reasonable fees based on travel expenses and moderate performance payment will be expected, see the guideline below.
All fees quoted are to be totally inclusive of all costs such as GST, travel, visas, meals. There are no riders.
Backline is generally provided on the larger stages. Artists may still be expected to bring their own drum kits and amps.
Partners and children’s passes only will be provided. There are no passes provided for agents, other family members or friends.
Artist’s Responsibilities
- Artists accept responsibility for their own Public Liability Insurance. When performing, you are a Festival service provider and as such, are not covered by the Festival’s public liability insurance. We suggest investigating insurance options with Folk Alliance Australia, see www.folkalliance.org.au and follow the links to ‘insurance’. You will need to be or become a member of Folk Alliance Australia.
- Artists also accept all responsibility for their tax obligations, superannuation and WorkCover requirements.
- Artists are responsible for their meals and drinks. Water will be provided at stages.
