  • $5.00 No Show Fee & strike applicable to all classes (waitlisted or not)

    It’s the most disappointing thing when there are empty spots for a full or waitlisted FIIT30 class, and we know YOU feel frustrated by it too. To ensure we can continue to give everyone an opportunity to attend, if you do not show up to your booked class or cancel late (within the 6-hour cancellation window), you will forfeit your pass and a $5 No Show Fee applies to all classes to members on an unlimited FIIT30 Membership. The $5 No Show Fee will automatically be added to the nearest direct debit date. We really hate to do this, so please help us by cancelling your class if you cannot attend.  


    Check in with the FIIT30 Instructor

    Please ensure for each FIIT30 class you attend that your name is marked by the FIIT30 Instructor. This is to ensure you are not penalised and marked as a no show. 


    Fernwood App Bookings

    Please be mindful when making your bookings - don't book ahead just to "save" a space, please only book when you are sure you can come, as a courtesy to others. Cancel your booking as soon as you know you can't make it. We understand things can change but we ask that you cancel your session as soon as you know you cannot make it to the class. 


    Waiting Lists

    Jump on the waitlists, they DO move! Information provided by our App Developers showed that there is a high chance of making it into a class when on the waiting list. Once you’re on a waitlist you will be automatically moved into a class as a spot becomes available. This can happen at any time, up until 6 hours before a class. Again, if you can’t make it you need to take yourself off the waitlist, because once you’ve been moved into the class the Late Cancellation and No Show Policy applies. Remember all bookings are self-managed and it is your own responsibility to check classes you have been booked into. Due to a recent Fernwood App update you are now able to cancel inside the 6 Hour Cancellation Window using Fernwood App if on the waiting list to allow others the chance to get in. If you can no longer attend/ don't want to come in for a class - please remove yourself as soon as possible. 

     

    Late Arrivals

    If you do not arrive by the class start time - you may be refused entry/your spot may be given to another Member on the waiting list. If you are in the club, you must arrive at least 5 minutes early for class. Arriving early is important for safety, allowing time to warm up, ask questions, and hear key instructions before class starts. If you are a New Member or this is your first class, we strongly advise for you to arrive 10 minutes early to introduce yourself to the instructor and to discuss any injuries/conditions you may have present.

    Please keep chatter to a very minimum to ensure no instructions provided are missed and to be respectful of the other Members in attendance. 


    Accidental Bookings

    Please be careful when using the Fernwood App Timetable section to avoid ‘accidentally’ booking in for a FIIT30 class. If this occurred within the cancellation window (6-Hours), we cannot cancel this for you. 

     

    Timetable Changes 

    Fernwood Gregory Hills reserves the right to make any changes to the FIIT30 Timetable due to circumstances including but not limited to Instructor Availability, Feedback & Demand. Please refer to the Fernwood App for current and up to date FIIT30 Class Times. 

  • MEMBERSHIP TERMS PER BELOW:

    1. Cooling off period: 48 hours from signing agreement - $50 admin fee applies

    2. Membership Cancellation: YOUR MEMBERSHIP IS ONGOING AND WILL ONLY STOP WHEN YOU NOTIFY US TO CANCEL IN WRITING. THIS IS AN ONGOING MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT. THE AGREEMENT WILL CONTINUE UNTIL EITHER YOU OR US TERMINATE IT IN THE WAY DESCRIBED IN THIS AGREEMENT. IF AN AUTOMATIC DEBIT ARRANGEMENT IS IN PLACE, MEMBERSHIP FEES WILL CONTINUE TO BE DEBITED FROM YOUR CREDIT CARD OR BANK ACCOUNT UNTIL YOU OR YOUR FERNWOOD HOME CLUB CANCEL THE ARRANGEMENT BY NOTIFYING YOUR BANK OR CREDIT PROVIDER. IF YOU TERMINATE THE AGREEMENT OR STOP THE AUTOMATIC DEBIT ARRANGEMENT IN A MENNER NOT DESCRIBED IN THE AGREEMENT, THEN YOU WILL BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT.

    If you need to cancel you must provide us written notice of the cancellation. please email gregoryhills@fernwoodfitness.com.au. YOU WILL NEED TO PROVIDE US WITH ONE MONTH NOTICE (2 FORTNIGHTLY DIRECT DEBITS) and cancellation fee (if applicable). 

     

    CANCELLATION TERMS:

    12 month ongoing - $200 cancellation fee + 2 direct debit notices

    18 month ongoing - $300 cancellation fee + 2 direct debit notices

    Flexi - 2 direct debit notices

     

    3. Deferral: You will be charged a freeze fee of $5.00 per week for each freeze as outlined in your Membership Fees & Charges. Please be aware that this is a pro-rated amount and will adjust your direct debit amount accordingly, depending on what date your freeze starts in line with your scheduled direct debit days. Must provide written notice of deferral. The period of the hold extends your minimum end term. If you have an active instalment plan this cannot be put on hold and debit along with your deferral.

     

    4. Rejection fee: $15 (please ensure to have funds the night before the debit date to avoid a rejection fee. Please refer to our direct debit calendar).

     

    5. DOWNGRADE FEE: $100 applies when downgrading to standard gym membership (APPLIES TO REFORMER PILATES MEMBERSHIPS, FIIT30 MEMBERSHIPS & PLATINUM MEMBERSHIPS - E.G. IF YOU DECIDE TO DOWNGRADE FROM A 12 MONTH REFORMER MEMBERSHIP TO A STANDARD 12 MONTH MEMBERSHIP THE DOWNGRADE FEE APPLIES. PLEASE NOTE THIS WILL START A WHOLE NEW MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT AND MINIMUM END TERM)

     

    6. Thrid party debt collection: $100

    7. Replacement 24/7 access key: $49

    8. Transfer of membership fee to non-member: $90

    9. HERE AT FERNWOOD FITNESS GREGORY HILLS WE DO NOT TOLERATE THE BELOW;

    ABUSIVE & AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOUR IN CLUB OR OVER THE PHONE TOWARDS OUR STAFF OR MEMBERS.

    WE ARE HERE TO HELP, BUT WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ASSIST IF WE BELIEVE YOU ARE SHOWING SIGNS OF AGGRESSION. IF STAFF OR MANAGEMENT BELIEVE YOU ARE EXHIBITING THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOUR YOUR MEMBERSHIP WILL LIKELY BE TERMINATED AS PER THE CANCELLATION T&CS OUTLINED.

  • 10. Your Fernwood Membership is ONLY to be used by you!

    11. Only one member can enter the club at any one time. It is a serious breach of safety to allow other members, non-members, or children through the door with your access card, penalties will apply.

    12. Please do not escort non-member/s into the club during unstaffed hours or give your key to anyone to use on your behalf. You will be contacted immediately and the following will apply as per our T&Cs:

    +$250 non-compliance fee (added onto your next direct debit

    +Possible termination of membership

     

  • Class & Appointment Cancellation Policy

     We have a 'fair play' booking policy whereby we ask that you provide us appropriate notice for your booking. Please see below:

     

    • Group Fitness Classes: 1 hour cancellation window
    • Reformer Pilates, FIIT30, Creche & Sauna: 6 hour cancellation window
    • Personal Training, Fitcoach & Hypoxi: 12 hours cancellation window

     

    For any of our paid services/classes which includes (Reformer Pilates, FIIT30, Creche, Sauna Personal Training, Fitcoach & Hypoxi) failure to cancel with the required notice will result in your session being forfeited.

     No Show Policy

    3 No-Show = 3 Strikes. Locked out of the app for 14 days.

     

    If you do not show up to 3 classes in a month, you will have strikes against your profile, and as a result, you will not be able to book classes through the app for 14 days. If you have the 3 strikes and are locked out from the app for 14 days, you can still book in class just through reception - you only lose the privilege of booking in through the app. We kindly ask you to cancel your class bookings or to notify us that you are not arriving to the class via reception or email. If you have any issues with cancelling the class, we advise you to send us an email with a screenshot so we can look into the issue or at least backdate when you tried to cancel. Please see our cancellation cut-off times below.

    House Rules

    Direct Debit  

    Our Direct Debit cycle runs on a fortnightly basis on a Thursday. Please ensure to have sufficient funds the night prior to the direct debit date to avoid a $15 rejection fee. Please see attached calendar below.
