Job Readiness Program Application
The five-week Job Readiness Program is designed to support Young Carers aged 14–18 as they prepare to enter the workforce with confidence.

Throughout the program, Young Carers will learn how to identify and articulate their skills, search for job opportunities, and create strong resumes and cover letters. They’ll also gain experience with interview techniques, workplace expectations, and navigating professional relationships.

The program also introduces key life skills, such as financial literacy and money management, helping participants feel better prepared for the transition into working life and helping them secure and maintain employment.

Carer Gateway

The Carer Gateway is an Australian Government funded initiative, designed to give carers access to support at critical points in their caring journey. Little Dreamers is a Carer Gateway partner. Please note, the Young Carer may be required to register with the Carer Gateway to participate in this program if they aren’t already as the program is generally funded by the Carer Gateway, but the Little Dreamers team will guide you through this process.
