Orygen is working on a project commissioned by the Wellcome Trust aimed at supporting the online sharing and organisation of open-access mental health measures. The Wellcome Trust has commissioned this project as part of a broader initiative to enhance common mental health measures and promote open-access research infrastructures.
An outcome measure in mental health is a tool or assessment used to evaluate a person's progress, experiences, or changes in mental well-being over time. These measures can be self-reported (answered by the individual) or clinician-rated (assessed by a professional). They are often used in therapy, mental health services, and research to track improvements, monitor symptoms, and guide treatment decisions. To date, many outcome measures have been developed in mental health; however, their use has not been consistent, and many have not been translated into practice. A key challenge is the lack of an open-source platform to host these measures and make them easily accessible for both individuals with lived experience and professionals.
We would love the opportunity to work with you to shape how this platform should look and function from your perspective. Your insights will help ensure it meets the needs of those who use and benefit from outcome measures the most.
This survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. Your answers will be kept confidential – only the Orygen team will have access to them. Merged answers across participants will be shared with the Wellcome Trust team and the broader research community.
