CCAP are holding an Algaculture In-Person CPD course on Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th November 2026, at CCAP/SAMS, near Oban, Scotland.

The course will run from 09.00 to 17.00 GMT each day. This course is made up of lectures and hands-on laboratory practical sessions, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions. Overall, the course will cover algal biology, media preparation and sterilisation, algal maintenance techniques, sampling, isolation and purification, molecular phycology and bioinformatics, algal scale-up and enumeration.

The cost is 960GBP per attendee (including VAT).

** There is the possibility of adding a third day covering cryopreservation in more depth – if you would be interested in this please let us know and we can give more information and a quote.
