As the National Theatre of Ireland, the Abbey Theatre is committed to championing new and emerging talent in theatre-making across Ireland and beyond.
We are therefore delighted to have this opportunity to meet artists we may not have had the chance to see before.
Applications are open to all professional actors aged 18 and over.
The Abbey Theatre will hold auditions at venues across the country on the following dates:
Audition Locations & Dates
Cork: 13th August
Belfast: 17th August
Dublin: 19th & 20th August
Galway: 24th August
Due to anticipated high demand, a competitive selection process will be in place.
Applicants must complete this form and attach their acting résumé along with a recent headshot to be considered for an in-person audition.
The deadline for submissions is 23rd July 2026. All applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application before general auditions take place.
