2025 Florida Resilience Conference

Call for Abstracts
Deadline June 2, 2025

Individual abstracts must be received by June 2, 2025, to be considered by the topic committees for inclusion in the program. Abstracts should focus on policy and legal considerations, funding programs, research, and project innovations relating to adaptation and mitigation, sea-level rise, smart planning, beach management, energy, and infrastructure. Ideas for abstracts are listed here, but other ideas are welcome.

Important Information:
- The conference will be held as an in-person event only.
- If you are interested in submitting a panel abstract, please note that it must be submitted separately. Do not use the standard submittal process. Instead, reach out to mail@fsbpa.com for more information and submission guidelines.
Abstract Format
- Abstract length is a maximum of two pages and save as PDF file
- Underline the name of the person who will present the abstract
- The abstract must include the following:
  - presenter(s) name and credentials
  - affiliation
  - contact information, including email address.
Speaker Expenses
All expenses are the responsibility of the speaker, including travel, lodging, and conference registration fees.

Resiliency Florida Awards Program
New this year, Resiliency Florida will be presenting several awards for outstanding projects. This is the first year they have offered this program. Projects will be selected by Resiliency Florida. If you would like to be considered for a Resiliency Florida Award, please fill out the following.
