How the Program works:
PROGRAM DETAILS:
- Goal: Recycle 200,000 cans and bottles in the school year with Bottles4College!
Recycling with Bottles4College will create a Bottles4College Scholarship for a current senior from your school that your school body will nominate; the more you recycle, the bigger the scholarship! Whichever school recycles the most cans and bottles through this program for the school year will also win an additional prize, it's a race to be at the top of sustainability through recycling!
40,000 cans and bottles recycled=$1,000 scholarship
120,000 cans and bottles recycled=$3,000 scholarship
200,000 cans and bottles=$5,000 Scholarship

How to collect recycling:
-recycling drives
Host recycling drives on campus where community members can bring their recyclable cans and bottles to!
-recycling at school events (sports, plays, showcases, etc.)
Have events at school? Set up bins and volunteers to collect and sort recycling during these events!

Make recycling everday by setting up recycling bins and systems across your campus!

Learn how to sort recycling with the graphic below! Sorting the recycling prior to Bottles4College picking it up is a requirement as it is state law to have your cans and bottles properly sorted when dropping them off at a recycling center.
Nominate a student to win the scholarship! High School Seniors for the current school year may be nominated, a final selection must be made prior to the school year closing.
