  • Appointment of Agent Assistant

  • Each appraisal district requires an signed Appointment of Agent form to be on file in order for Texas True Tax to represent you.  Please take a moment to complete this form.

This digital form was created to assist property owners in completing an Appointment of Agent for Property Tax Matters form (Form 50-162). An Appointment of Agent form is for use by a property owner in designating a lessee or other person (Texas True Tax) to act as the owner’s agent in property tax matters. You should read all applicable law and rules carefully, including Tax Code Section 1.111 and Comptroller Rule 9.3044. The original 50-162 document is available here at the Texas Comptroller's website.

You will receive a copy of the completed document after signing, as well as information on next steps for the protest process.
