Thank you for your interest in applying to CE’s Clean Energy Fellows: Seattle Energy Ecosystem cohort. We are thrilled to be able to offer this opportunity to educators who live or work in geographies serviced by Seattle City Light (within SCL service, generation, or transmission territory or surrounding regions) for the 2025-2026 school year. The following application is for the Seattle City Light cohort of Clean Energy Fellows.

This application will take approximately 30-60 minutes to complete. We strongly recommend you have reviewed the application pdf and pre-written answers to the long-form questions in order to more easily complete the application.

Each Clean Energy Fellows cohort is focused on aligning the needs of CE partners and communities to deliver the highest impact with the highest likelihood for longevity. These cohorts can be categorized by the scope of their intended impact and focus, whether it be in depth regional engagement or engagement around a specific industry area.

Clean Energy Fellows: Seattle Energy Ecosystems Cohort description

Part III. Your Contribution to the Clean Energy Fellows Cohort

Clean Energy Fellows will focus on aggregating and updating curriculum, increasing avenues for engagement in activities, and collaborating with industry voices to jumpstart access to this particular career sector. An emphasis on blending history, future grid challenges, and the inclusion of voices from all impacted populations in the state will shape this project. Each cohort has a specific project approach to curricular development and engagement. Please review the cohort description on page 2 for details.
