In the past recognition has been given to outstanding performances of individual members in the form of Honorary membership of Clandeboye Golf Club. We, the undersigned, respectfully ask that consideration be given to conferring this honour on a very loyal, long-standing lady member who has been consistently willing to represent Clandeboye, with outstanding results, and therefore, we would ask to formally nominate Nikki Currie for Honorary Membership.
Her achievements over the years are as follows:

She was Junior Convenor for a number of years, has held the post of Safeguarding Liaison Officer for Clandeboye Golf Club, and she was Lady Captain in 2023.
She has represented Clandeboye at all levels of Golf during those years, as a member of many Ladies’ Senior Cup; Senior Foursomes, (as captain) and on All-Ireland Mixed Teams. Many of these matches went to All-Ireland Finals .
At Provincial level, Nikki was chosen to play on a number of Ulster teams and has won the Ulster Championship.
She has represented Ulster and Clandeboye Golf Club in National competitions. In 2024, her final position in the Ladies’ Order of Merit led to her selection in the Irish Senior Ladies’ team to play against Scotland. In 2025, she finished 6th in the Irish Order of Merit, and is the Current Joint Leading Player of the Ulster Order of Merit.
She has won our Ladies’ Club Championship a minimum of 10 times.

She has been the face of Clandeboye, representing the club with dignity and integrity. She spends time with our younger girls, encouraging them to achieve their potential, and who knows, they may be following in her footsteps. We believe that this record deserves recognition, it fulfils all the required criteria for Honorary membership, and to accord Nikki an Honorary membership would be fitting for herself, and welcomed by all of our members.
