Hey fellow teachers

This all started because I needed a better system for my own classroom. I’m a full-time teacher just like you, juggling chaos and trying to keep things running smoothly without completely losing it. I built this restroom pass system as a solution for myself, but after using it, I realized it could actually help other teachers too.

So I cleaned it up, added some cool features, and decided to share it here.

And yeah, I spent over 75 hours of my summer break putting this thing together because apparently I’m allergic to relaxing.

The goal was simple. Save your time. Keep things running smoother. Maybe help you hang onto a few more hairs. And possibly make a couple dollars to finally replace the classroom stapler that vanished back in October, restock the candy stash I pretend students don’t know about, and get a dry erase marker that actually lasts longer than a class period.

END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

For the Restroom Pass System by John Place

IMPORTANT - READ CAREFULLY:

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a

single educational user) and John Place, developer of the Restroom Pass System ("Software").

By installing, copying, accessing, or using this Software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this

Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.

1. LICENSE GRANT

This license is granted to one single end user, typically one individual teacher. It is non-transferable,

non-exclusive, and limited to personal classroom use only. You may install and use the Software on one

classroom device at a time.

This license does not permit use by entire schools, multiple classrooms, or school districts unless a separate

agreement or site license has been purchased or approved in writing by John Place.

2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content within this Software - including source code, design, interface, sound, and structure - is the

intellectual property of John Place. All rights not explicitly granted are reserved.

Reverse-engineering, repackaging, or creating derivative works from this Software is strictly prohibited.

3. RESTRICTIONS

END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

You may not:

- Share, resell, copy, or distribute the Software to others

- Upload the Software online for public or private download

- Use the Software across multiple classrooms, schools, or devices without a separate license

- Remove or alter any credit, branding, or identification included in the Software

4. DISTRICT OR ORGANIZATIONAL USE

If you are representing a school, district, or educational organization and intend to use this Software beyond a

single teacher's classroom, you are required to obtain written permission or purchase an appropriate

multi-user or site license.

Unauthorized use may result in legal action.

5. SUPPORT AND UPDATES

This license includes access to Version 1 of the Software. Minor bug fixes will be provided for free if

discovered. Future versions (Version 2, 3, 4, etc.) containing new features or upgrades will require a separate

purchase.

6. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY

This Software is provided "as is" with no warranties, express or implied. John Place does not guarantee

uninterrupted use, compatibility, or that the Software will be free of bugs or errors.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

In no event shall John Place be liable for any damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Software,

including but not limited to incidental, special, or consequential damages, even if advised of such.

8. TERMINATION

This Agreement is effective until terminated. Violating any terms will immediately terminate your license. You

must then delete all copies of the Software from your device(s).

9. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any legal disputes must be handled in

the courts of Broward County, Florida.

10. ANTI-TAMPERING NOTICE & UNAUTHORIZED USE

This Software is licensed only to the original purchaser. Any attempt to bypass, edit, or disable licensing

checks, access restrictions, or verification systems - including modifying code to allow others to use it for free

- is a direct violation of this Agreement and will be treated as software piracy.

You may not:

- Remove license verification

- Modify or alter code to share the Software with other users

- Create "cracked" versions or distribute unauthorized copies

Violators may face:

- Immediate termination of their license

- Permanent bans from receiving updates or support

- Legal action if used or distributed by districts or large groups

Note: This Software may contain internal markers (visible or invisible) that identify the original purchaser. If

the Software is distributed or traced to unauthorized sources, you may be held responsible.

11. LICENSE VERIFICATION AND INTERNET USE

The Software may use internet connectivity to verify your license and registration information. You consent to

this communication solely for licensing purposes.

12. TRANSFER POLICY

You may transfer this license to another classroom device only if the original installation is completely

removed. Sharing licenses across multiple devices is not permitted.

13. REFUND POLICY

Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final. No refunds will be issued once the Software has been

delivered.

14. DATA COLLECTION AND PRIVACY

This Software does not collect, transmit, or store personal data outside the local device. All usage data

remains within your classroom environment.

15. MODIFICATION FOR UPDATES

John Place reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time. Continued use of the Software after such

changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
