100 Hour Foundation Course - Permanent Membership
(For those who have completed a 100 Hour Foundation Course or equivalent Basic training for self in Yoga – earning credits towards other courses)

200 Hour Certified Yoga Teacher - Permanent Membership
(For those who have completed a 200 Hour or equivalent training 

This certification level grants you the opportunity to have your Yoga Studio accredited by Yoga Alliance International® and enables you to offer Yoga Classes, Workshops, and Retreats.)
 

300 Hour Certified Yoga Teacher - Permanent Membership
(For individuals who have completed a 300-hour training program or an equivalent amount of training hours

This certification level grants you the opportunity to have your Yoga School accredited by Yoga Alliance International®, enables you to offer Yoga Classes, Workshops, and Retreats and conduct 100-hour foundation courses.)

500 Hour Certified Yoga Master - Permanent Membership
(For individuals who have completed a 500-hour training program or an equivalent amount of training hours

This certification level grants you the opportunity to have your Yoga School accredited by Yoga Alliance International®, enables you to offer Yoga Classes, Workshops, and Retreats and conduct 100- 200- and 300-hour training programs.)

Senior Experienced Yoga Teacher - Permanent Membership
(This prestigious title is reserved for both certified and non-certified Yoga teachers with significant teaching experience, as well as individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the field of Yoga.

This certification level grants you the opportunity to have your Yoga School accredited by Yoga Alliance International®, enables you to offer Yoga Classes, Workshops, and Retreats and conduct 100- 200- 300- and 500-hour training programs.)

CODE OF CONDUCT 

This code of conduct is a statement of acceptable ethical and professional
behaviour by which all certified teachers agree to abide by. It is not
intended to replace the ethics of any school but is to be a basis for yoga
principles. As a YAI certified Yoga teacher, I agree to follow these ethical
principles:

1. Professionalism
• Maintain the highest integrity in your vocation by always conducting yourself in a professional, conscientious, and ethical manner.
• Adhere to the Standards established by Yoga Alliance International.

2. Scope of Practice
• Recognize the limitations of my skills and realm of practice and when
appropriate, refer students to a specialised instructor.

3. Safe and Inclusive Environment
• Foster a safe, clean, and welcoming space for yoga practice.
• Respect the rights, dignity, and privacy of all students, irrespective of their age, physical abilities, race, creed, gender, ethnicity, religious affiliation, or sexual orientation.
• Avoid any language or actions that could be interpreted as sexual harassment.

4. Compliance with Laws
• Follow all applicable local and national laws governing yoga teaching and business operations.
• Follow the traditional yoga principles as written in the Yamas and Niyamas.

 This code of conduct s a statement of ethical and professional behaviour which all certified teachers agree to abide by. It is not intended to replace the ethics of any school but it serves as a foundational framework for the principles of yoga.

YOGA ALLIANCE INTERNATIONAL TRADEMARK USAGE TERMS

If your application is approved, as YAI certified teacher, you
acknowledge and agree:

• To use the YAI Trademark only online on your website and social
  media in conjonction with the services your offer , as
  follows:

“[Your name and surname] YAI certified Teacher [followed by YAI
Trademark]” 
(Eg: John Smith 200 hours YAI certified teacher )

• Not to physically print, use, display the YAI Trademark anywhere without prior written permission from Yoga Alliance International.
• To use the YAI Trademark as it is, without any modifications. Symbol and text must always appear together as in the link provided.
• Not to print the YAI Trademark on any certificates you issue.
  
  You further acknowledge and agree that:
  • You shall not at any time acquire any rights, title or interest in the YAI Trademark by virtue of any use you may make of the YAI Trademark;
  • You will not contest the ownership rights to the YAI Trademark or contest its validity;
  • Yoga Alliance International shall have the right to unilaterally modify the YAI Trademark at any time without your approval and you will start using the YAI Trademark as modified by Yoga Alliance International.

STATEMENT OF AGREEMENT

As a certified member of Yoga Alliance International, I commit to upholding the ethical principles and professional standards outlined in the Code of Practice.

 I understand that failure to adhere to these standards may result in the revocation of my school's certification and associated privileges. I confirm that all information provided in this application is accurate to the best of my knowledge. I acknowledge that the acceptance of my application is solely at the discretion of the Yoga Alliance International Committee.

 I consent to the terms and conditions stated above and agree to fulfill these requirements to maintain my listing as a Certified Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance International®. I also understand that providing false or misleading information may result in the refusal or cancellation of my application.
