To assist us should we have any formatting questions, please also upload a word or rtf file of your abstract.
An example abstract and suggested formatting guidelines are given below to assist you. It is not compulsory to use this exact formatting (font etc), the fields however are mandatory (title, authors, affiliation etc.).
Deadlines and details:
Abstract submission deadline: Monday, March 9th
abstracts received after March 9th will not be evaluated for an oral presentaion
- All abstracts will be included in the poster session and 1 minute “teaser” presentation.
- Short Oral Presentations: Selected authors will be invited to give a short oral (10 minute) presentation during the School. Oral presentation invitations will be communicated by April 1st.
- Poster Guidelines: Poster supports allow a maximum size: 95 (wide) x 135cm tall, therefore portrait format of A1/A0 is strongly recommended. Feel free to print your poster on multiple small sheets to avoid travelling with a poster tube. Posters printed on foldable material are also an excellent option.
- Poster sessions: Poster sessions are divided over 5 evenings (May 8-12), the schedule will be communicated 10 days prior to the School. The Poster Sessions are a free format where authors will present their poster multiple times to small groups over the course of the evening.
- Teaser Presentations: The day of the assigned poster session, each author will present a 1-minute "teaser" slide in the conference room. Teaser slides (1 SLIDE ONLY per presenting author) must be submitted in advance and may not contain any animation or timing. Submission details will be communicated at the end of April.
- Modifications: If absolutely necessary, you may submit a modified abstract to replace the orginal submission, by April 10th .
