    Introduction

Thank you for your interest in applying for the 2026 Monarch Bioenergy Scholarship. Monarch Bioenergy is a Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) company, who specializes in capturing and creating renewable natural gas from methane emissions found in normal farming practices. We use what’s naturally produced and convert it into a clean energy source making RNG good for the climate and the people.

Our scholarships are for outstanding Duplin County High School Seniors and can be used at any four-year private or public college/university, community college, or trade school. The scholarships are intended for students who wish to enter the clean energy or agricultural sector, but we encourage all areas of studies and majors to apply.

Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Areas of study would include, but are not limited to, engineering, agriculture, environmental, all sciences, finance, business, communications, and degrees associated with a trade.
