    Join us for "BLOOM," a vibrant art auction celebrating growth, transformation, and renewal. Held at ArtWorks’ new Hannan ArtPark in Walnut Hills, this event invites artists to explore flourishing ideas, nature’s resilience, and the possibilities of artistic expression.

    What does it mean to bloom? Is it a delicate unfolding or an explosion of color? Whether inspired by nature, personal growth, or community, let your work take root and inspire at this pop-up showcase.

    Date: Friday, May 16th
    Location: ArtWorks' Hannan ArtPark, 2424 Gilbert Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45206
    Duration: 5:00 PM-7:00 PM


    Eligibility:

    • Open to all living or working in the Greater Cincinnati area.
    • All images submitted must be the artist's own work.
    • All submitted images should be high-resolution, with a maximum file size of 10GB.
    • All mediums are welcome.


    Artwork Specifications:

    • Artists will be required to provide physical versions of the accepted artwork.
      Artwork may be 2D or 3D.
    • Artwork should weigh no more than 20 lbs. and have maximum dimensions of 36 inches (91.44 cm) in any direction.
    • Art must be ready to display freestanding and stable on a flat surface or suitable for display on an easel.
    • The artwork will be juried by ArtWorks staff & Board based on criteria including originality, relevance to the theme, adherence to artwork specifications, and overall quality.  
    • The artist will receive 75% of the proceeds of their sale, with the other 25% going to ArtWorks.

    Notifications regarding selection for the "BLOOM" theme will be sent out by April 24th at 5 PM.

  • Artwork Information

    Please ensure all files are clearly labeled and submitted according to the guidelines provided below to avoid any complications with your submission. Selection is not guaranteed.

  • Required Artwork Images

    Please submit at least one (1) and up to five (5) high-resolution images of your artwork. Each image should be clearly labeled with your name, the artwork title, and the theme, following this format: "FirstNameLastName_ArtworkTitle_Theme.jpg". Images need to be in either JPG, PNG, or, GIF format and no larger than 4MB.

    To participate and receive payment, you must submit the required documents digitally. If we have received them recently, resubmission is only required if your information has changed. If you have trouble accessing or submitting the forms, submit your application first and contact Karla Batres Gilvin at karla@artworkscincinnati.org for assistance.
