  • Dear Prospective Debutante,

    Thank you for your interest in the 75th Annual Debutante Scholarship Ball Cotillion. Consistent with the aims of the Central Arkansas Sphinx Foundation (CASF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the Debutante Ball is a celebratory event that presents young ladies to society who exhibit actions, deeds and the qualities of femininity, grace, scholarship, and love for all mankind.

    If you are invited to participate, you will have the opportunity to engage in various workshops activities that will encourage future success. In December, you will be celebrated with a grand ball.

    Being a debutante requires time, work, and commitment. Before applying, please consider the following minimum requirements. Please also consider expenses that are involved.

    To be presented, a prospective Debutante must:

    1. Be a natural born female resident of the United States

    2. Classify as a high school senior in the Fall 2025.

    3. Not have been presented in another debut.

    4. Exhibit high moral and ethical standards.

    5. Pay dues of $550.00 (in two $200.00 installments) which includes the $150.00 deposit. Dues are non-refundable. Dues includes: four (4) tickets to the debutante ball for the debutante, the presenter, the escort, and debutante’s mother/maternal family member as well as professional photos of the individual debutante and debutante group photos.

    6. Sell a minimum $1000.00 in ad sales

    7. Wear an appropriate business casual attire to each event and wear a white ball-gown to the Ball(gown must meet the specified requirements)

    8. Attend program events, and cotillion rehearsal (outlined in Debutante calendar).

    9. Select a reliable young male escort (ages 17-21) and an adult male presenter (father or father-figure)for the Cotillion ball.

    10. Must adhere to the mandatory standards (rules, piercings, tattoos, hair color, zero-tolerance alcohol policy at events, and etc.)

    Current juniors may submit a debutante application through May 5, 2025.
    Completed Applications should be submitted online via our website.
    In submitting this application, applicants agree to be bound to the terms of the Debutante Agreement.
