Registration fee of $20 per child will be due upon registration. This is payable by EMT to eganville.community.soccer@gmail.com. Pease cite child's name in the memo line.
Sessions will run every Wednesday from 20 may thru 22 July at the Legion Field. Ages 4-6 will play from 6:10-7:10 PM. Ages 7-16 will play from 7:15-8:15 PM. The last date of the season will be our celebration BBQ.
Your child must be 4 years old on or before 31 Dec 2026 to register.
Uniforms including jerseys, shorts and socks will be provided for ages 7 and under. Balls will be provided for children.
No soccer equipment is needed. We ask children wear running shoes. Since not all families may be able to purchase cleats, this helps keep the program inclusive while also preventing injuries - cleats stepping on soft sneakers can pose a risk to small toes.
Please ensure your child comes prepared with water and sun/insect protection (if required). If your child wears a hat, please wear a bucket hat. Beaks on ball caps can risk injury to other children in the event of a collision.
Soccer may be canceled due to thunder and lightening, poor air quality due to smoke, excessive heat as determined by the Eastern Ontario Soccer League, or othere severe weather warnings. Soccer will proceed in the event of rain, unless extremely heavy rainfall/flash flooding. Notices will be posted on the "Eganville Community Soccer" Facebook page. If you do not have access to Facebook, please ensure you have requested email updates under the "parent information" section. The game will not be rescheduled. If this falls on the season end BBQ, an alternative day will be scheduled.
Parents/guardians are REQUIRED to remain at the field with their child. In the event that the parent/guardian must leave, it is their responsibility to ensure their child is supervised by another person at the field.
Washrooms are located next to the splash pad and are available for use.
Please use caution while entering and exiting parking spaces as there is often children playing around these areas.
Only the children scheduled to play should be on the soccer field – please keep younger children off the playing field.
Please remind all children that they should not hang or swing off the soccer nets.
Do not allow children to remove practice poles or hoops from the ground. They become dangerous objects once removed.
