May 24 - November 3, 2025

Eligibility:

Art must be from current SPAP members. If you're not sure of your current status, confirm on the SPAP web page under Membership Directory/Members.

Artists may submit up to three images, no more than two of which will be accepted. Selection will be made by Juror of Entries Cody DeLong ( https://www.codydelong.com/about )

Three cash awards will be awarded by the Juror of Show Glenn Rennell ( http://www.glennrenell.com/about ) at the show reception on Saturday, October 4 from 11-1:00. Exact cash amount to be determined by the number of entries.

Details and Requirements:
- Works must be created in plein air, during the last two years, and not created during a workshop.
- Art must be ready to hang, framed with wire on back, no sawtooth hardware.
- No wet paintings.
- Label back of art with Artist Name, Title, Medium and Price.
- All sales will be handled by the Amerind Museum. A museum commission of 30% will be deducted from the sale price. Museum will handle any relevant disbursements and shipping costs.
- Artists must submit a three paragraph bio for Gallery notebook.
- Art can be dropped off at parking lot of Arizona Art Supply, Thursday May 22, 4-5:00.
- Art being dropped off at Arizona Art Supply must be wrapped appropriately for transport to Dragoon, AZ as SPAP is not responsible for art work damaged during transport.
- Unsold art can be retrieved from the parking lot of Arizona Art Supply between 4-5:00 on Tuesday, November 4. Pick up your art during designated window of time OR have someone pick it up for you. Art not picked up will be donated to Charity.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY FORM FOR Sonoran Plein Air Painters PARTICIPANTS The Artist grants permission for their artwork to be displayed. The Artist represents the artwork entry is an original work of authorship personally created by the undersigned Artist. 1. The Artist hereby assumes all risks and hazards incidental to any participation in the display of their artwork. 2. The Artist warrants and represents that they are the sole legal owner of all right, title and interest in his/her Artwork and has the full right and authority to enter this Agreement and grant the rights granted in this Agreement. 3. The Artist understands that while artwork is handled with care and respect, unforeseen accidents can happen. Neither Sonoran Plein Air Painters nor any of its officers, agents or employees shall be responsible for theft, vandalism, fire or any other damages or losses to the artwork. The Artist understands and agrees that Sonoran Plein Air Painters makes no representations or warranties regarding the level of security in the facility or premises. The Artist understands and agrees that Sonoran Plein Air Painters and its officers, agents and employees will not be responsible for reimbursement or replacement of lost, stolen or damaged items and that Sonoran Plein Air Painters does not insure items such as the submitted artwork. Sonoran Plein Air Painters encourages the owner of the artwork to obtain an insurance policy for the artwork or to obtain a rider on any existing policy for the duration of the exhibit. 4. The Artist shall indemnify, save and hold harmless Sonoran Plein Air Painters, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers and agents from any and all claims, demands, causes of action and judgements, losses, costs and expenses, including but not limited to reasonable attorney’s fees, arising due to the negligence of the Artist, employees, agents or other personnel hereunder, including but not limited to any representation, warranty, term and/or condition of this Agreement. I, the Artist, understand the waiver described in this document. I am aware that this is a release of Liability and I sign it of my own free will.*
