This award recognises a UK or European registered Start-up or Emerging Medtech company with proof of incorporation or commencement of operations after 1 January 2020
The questions on the entry form (on the next page) are split across SEVEN key areas:
- Product/Need: Provide a summary of the novel technology or approach, including why it is different, what area of unmet need it addresses, and how/why it will be impactful to patients
- Clinical Trial Activity /Product Development: Please provide evidence of your progress/success in clinical trials or product development
- Business Plan: Please provide evidence of an early stage business plan to support continued business growth
- Story: Share your company 'story', along with evidence of consistent news flow and a well organised website
- Fundraising: Please provide proof of your continued fundraising and your future fundraising strategy
- Team: Provide detail of your management team and board, which should showcase a broad, diverse, and credible team, that exemplifies your Equality, Diversity & Inclusion strategy
- ESG: How are you incorporating Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) within your everyday business operations
PLEASE NOTE:
- Entries must be submitted via the survey linked on the OBN Awards website – all sections with a * must be completed
- Ensure you adhere to the wordcount guidelines indicated
- You are welcome to enter more than one award category, however content in each entry must be different
- All entries are judged against the criteria outlined in the entry form, with points available as indicated
- Judges will only award points where there is clear proof that each requirement has been met
