WSSC Water is looking for local artists to display their work at the Brighton Dam Visitor Center (2 Brighton Dam Road, Brookeville) or WSSC Water Support Center (14501 Sweitzer Lane, Laurel) for approximately a one-to-two-month timeframe.
Specifications
- All work must be wired, ready to hang and of appropriate subject matter — G, rated — Please, no nudity.
- There are spaces available for hanging from between 19 works up to 38 works if the work is small enough to be double hung
- If you want to double hang work, each piece should not be larger than about 18” x 24” or extremely heavy.
- If you are single hanging each piece, then the size of each piece can be larger
- You are responsible for transporting your work to and from the buildings
- You are also responsible for hanging and taking down your artwork. You may want to bring a stepladder to facilitate hanging.
