I understand that the Charlesgate Farmers Market selects vendors at their discretion and approves each vendor's schedule.
I understand and agree that I must notify the market manager of any potential absences at acceptance, or absence will be subject to a fine. For unanticipated absences, cancellation notice must be given to the Market Manager by the Thursday before at 2pm, or absence will be subject to a fine. There will be no reimbursements for absences.
I understand and agree that my business must maintain a presence for the entire duration of the market
I understand and agree to arrive at farmers market-determined arrival time
I understand that consistent violation of Charlesgate Farmers Market policies may result in the withdrawal of my membership at the market
I understand and agree that as a vendor, I am responsible for all requirements and licenses set by the City of Boston, State of Massachusetts, and the Federal Government (i.e. the local board of health, Massachusetts Department of Public Health, USDA, FDA, and potentially others). .I also understand that my Vendor Application to the market assumes all appropriate requirements and licenses will be obtained. If I am accepted to the market and confirm acceptance, I am responsible for payment of the entire vendor fee assigned regardless of ability to obtain appropriate permits or licenses.
I understand and agree that all vendors must carry a $2M aggregate insurance policy that covers $1M per occurrence and names “Muddy Water Initiative/Charlesgate Farmers Market” and “Department of Conservation and Recreation" as an additional insured - no exceptions.
