To be used by school staffs for in-school professional staff development. Each school has up to $600 available to use. Schools may apply for additional funds by providing a detailed plan to the Professional Development Committee, at least 30 days in advance.

List your anticipated expenses here. Maximum of $600.00 total. Allowable expenses include $50 gift card honorarium per CVTU member and non CVTU member fees. Funds can not be used for food or drink purposes.

CVTU members who present a local workshop to members within SD#79 shall be provided leave pursuant to Policy 4.2.1:

CVTU members who are engaged by the CVTU to present a local workshop/course within SD#79 shall be given in lieu of monetary reimbursement, equal TTOC time to be used for their own professional development, plus an additional 0.5 TTOC day to prepare the workshop/course to be presented within 12 months.

If the presenter is a CVTU member, they will need to complete the Compensatory Day Approval Form.

It is possible for schools to work together to share financial resources.
