2026 Animal Adventures - Teen Day Camp
  • Animal Adventures - Teen Day Camp

    Summer 2026
  • Calling all animal lovers! Time to focus on ALL types of creatures and learn about less traditional pets such as bunnies, rats, hamsters, reptiles and more. Meet some adorable shelter animals and learn how we care for them including an age-appropriate introduction to veterinary medicine and skills. Encounter exotic guests, play games, and make new friends. Practicing empathy and compassion for all species will help youth create bonds with animals and people alike.

Animal Adventures Camp is for youth entering grades 6 through 8 in September 2026.

  • Important information to know before registering

  • Peanut Allergen Warning

At Seattle Humane, peanut products may be found in any area where animals are present, especially with dogs. Peanut butter is commonly used to provide enrichment and medication, and program participants may come in contact with these products or animals who have recently consumed these products while at the shelter. While peanut products are uncommon in cat and small critter areas, there is shared equipment and laundry between species that may carry a risk of peanut exposure. Families should contact Education Services staff if they have questions about their child's ability to safely participate in activities.
