The Art of Practicing and Leading Authentic Worship

For Worship or Band Groups of 6 or more attending Ascend together. Group Discounted Registration deadline is May 15th. Your group members registered by May 15th will recieve the group discount. More members may be added to your group after May 15th at the regular price.

We're looking forward to you and your group joining us and other creatives this summer. For all the details see AscendWestCoast.com. Two Day Worship/music workshops with varied schedules.

Track A + Z the Full Conference Expereince - Group Discount $99 per person by May 15th ($125 after May 1st)

Track A Pre-sessions primarily for Pastors/Worship leaders/ Aspiring worship leaders –while open to all seeking to expand their knowledge of all aspects of worship. Track A pre-session begins Friday at 9:00 a.m. – 6:30, continues Friday night and Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. (includes lunch and dinner both days)

Track Z for ALL worship leaders, musicians, vocalists, instrumentalists or other members of worship teams or others seeking to expand their knowledge and converse about all aspects of worship. Track Z: $65 per person Group discount price by May 15th ($75 after May 15th)

Track Z begins Friday at 6:30 p.m. and continues Sat. at 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (includes lunch and dinner on Saturday):

Lodging for out of town guests is separate, and participants or groups will reserve their own lodging. Ascend has reserved a block of rooms at a local hotel closeby for conference attendees. Or we may be able to accomodate group overnight stays with a local church. Inquire. More info below. Participants must be 13 years or older to attend.

Please provide individual names and contact info for your group. A $200 deposit holds your group space for the conference.

Payment in full will be made by group leader and is required by June 10th. Attendees may partially or fully reimburse group leaders for tuition at group discretion.

Cancellation policy: There is a non-refundable $30 registration fee per person. $50 is non-refundable after June 1 through June 10th. No refund if cancellation received on June 10th or later but you could transfer your spot to another attendee.

SCHEDULE

TRACK A + Z is the full Worship track experience (Friday pre-sessions starting at 9:00 a.m. plus Fri. night and Saturday begins at 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.)

TRACK Z Friday night and All Day Saturday. Friday night session begins at 6:30 p.m., Saturday at 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

MUSIC/WORSHIP EXPERIENCE - All music track guests participate daily in all group sessions of common interest to musicians in the church. And the following break out sessions will be available on Saturday. Please indicate areas of interest for your group.

Singers: Vocals/Voice Training/Harmonizing with Jennifer Abdo and team -The dynamic place of song and singing in life and worship (Saturday General additional topics of interest for Music and Worship leading with the team of leaders.Instrumental enhancement: Keyboard/piano - Theory and Worship keyboard Chording, patterns /ear Training, how to fit with a team/band of players and instruments, with Iryna Kudielina and team (Saturday)Instrumental enhancement: Guitar - With Andrew Kostrna and the team. Enhance your chording, fills, using the capo, how to pick the right keys for sing-ability, how to get a key transposed, fit with a team/band of players and instruments. (Saturday)General additional topics of interest for leading Music and Worship with the team of leaders.

Commuter or chosen lodging (Group leader) -*

Local: We will be commuting to and from workshop dailyLocal Lodging: Comfort Inn and Suites in Ashland. A block of rooms is reserved at the Comfort Inn and Suites for conference attendees, just 3 miles from the venue with a lovely swimming pool. Reservations can be made by calling 541-482-6932. Please identify yourself as a Ascend Conference attendee when you book. Room with 2 Queens ($132/night (average over conference dates) plus tax). Breakfast is included.Mixed lodging options for our groupWe are interested in possibly staying overnight at a local church.

Group leader please sign below: Each member of your group attending Ascend must fill out and sign this indemnification form and will be sent separately to each attendee. Participation, Release, and Medical Agreement. While we make every effort to provide a safe and pleasant environment for every attendee who attends ASCEND 2025, we do require that this participation agreement be read, filled out, signed, and dated by all attendees (or their parent/guardian if under the age of 18) who wish to participate in activities and workshops at ASCEND 2025, hosted by Masterpiece Christian Fine Arts Foundation (MCFAF). With full knowledge, I accept full responsibility for any injury, accident OR Covid-19 exposure that may occur to myself, or my child if under age 18, while participating in ASCEND 2025 activities/workshops. MCFAF and its staff will take reasonable daily sanitation measures at points of high contact (drinking fountains, food stations, restrooms). I, on behalf of myself, my children, my assigns, and my estate, agree to release and hold harmless MCFAF and Ashland Christian Fellowship, its officers, board, agents or employees, for any and all claims for injuries, causes of action, or liability related to my or my child's participation in any activity occurring at ASCEND 2025. This release does not apply to intentional and/or willful acts of misconduct by MCFAF or Ashland Christiain Fellowship or any of its officers, board, agents or employees or volunteers. Should MCFAF Ascend or Ashland Christian Fellowship, or anyone acting on their behalf, be required to incur attorney's fees and costs to enforce this agreement, I agree to indemnify and hold MCFAF, Ascend or Ashland Christian Fellowship harmless for all such fees and cost, and parties bringing such a claim will pay all attorney costs should the claim be found insufficient. By signing this document, I acknowledge that if I am (or my minor child is) hurt or property damaged during my or my child's participation in these activities, I and/or my child may be found by court of law to have waived any right to maintain a lawsuit against MCFAF or Ashland Christian Fellowship on the basis of any claim which has been released herein. For promotional or marketing purposes, MCFAF, Ascend 2025 Creatives Conference and/or Ashland Christian Fellowship reserve the right to use any audio, video, and/or photography of guests or attendees participating at the ASCEND 2025 conference on social media or other public domains, unless otherwise indicated.
