  • The Alpha Impact Charitable Foundation (AICF) promotes scholarship, public health, and community service. The foundation recognizes the challenges of rising tuition costs and the financial strain it may cause to some families. With this in mind, AICF is pleased to offer limited assistance through $1,000 scholarships to qualified applicants.

    PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY

    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

    Scholarship applicants, at the time of the application, must:

    • Be an African American male in his senior year of high school in the Katy/ Cypress area.
    • Have a minimum scholastic average of 2.5 cumulative on a 4.0 scale verified by official transcripts.
    • Be actively seeking enrollment in a 2-year college or 4-year university for the Fall 2025 semester.
    • Submit a minimum of two (2) letters of recommendation, one of which must be from the high school counselor and the other from someone who can speak to the character of the applicant such as a teacher or community leader.
  • HOW TO APPLY

    Applications must be submitted through the online application by the deadline. Submissions are final and will not be returned to the applicant.

    All applications and supporting documentation MUST be submitted by 11:59 PM, Wednesday, April 30, 2025.

    FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS LISTED ABOVE WILL DISQUALIFY YOUR APPLICATION

  • SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

    Applications are judged based on grade point average, scholastic achievements, writing abilities, and a personal interview (to be scheduled after the deadline for applications). Applicants will receive acknowledgment of receipt of the application and all applicants will receive notification of selections by May 31, 2025. 

    All awards will be made within the first month of college attendance and will be mailed directly to the awardees upon verification of enrollment from the college registrar.

  • I ACKNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTAND THAT I MUST SUBMIT A MINIMUM OF TWO (2) LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION, ONE OF WHICH MUST BE FROM THE HIGH SCHOOL COUNSELOR AND THE OTHER FROM SOMEONE WHO CAN SPEAK TO THE CHARACTER OF THE APPLICANT, SUCH AS A TEACHER OR COMMUNITY LEADER.
