3rd Annual Adopt-A Senior for Christmas Program

Help make the holidays brighter for a Southern California Senior experiencing personal or financial hardship. Golden Future Expos’ Adopt-A Senior for Christmas program connects participating sponsors with older adults who could use some extra joy this season.

How the Program Works:

GFE identifies seniors who could use extra support during the holiday season.
With each senior’s consent, GFE shares limited information with their sponsor, such as the senior’s name, contact information, delivery address, and holiday wish list.

Sponsors select new and unused gifts from the wish list based on their budget. There is no minimum contribution, and every gift is appreciated.
Sponsors contact the senior only to coordinate gift delivery or pickup, following the arrangements and privacy guidelines provided by GFE.
Sponsors deliver, mail, or arrange pickup of the gifts by the program deadline.

Requirements to be a Sponsor:

Be at least 18 years old.
Reside in Southern California with a CA mailing address. This requirement does not apply to Corporate Sponsors or Government Agencies.
Submit a valid photo ID for identity verification.
Agree to keep the senior’s information private and use it only to coordinate the delivery of gifts.
Follow Golden Future Expos gift delivery arrangements and deadlines.
Notify Golden Future Expos promptly if they can no longer fulfill their commitment.

Corporate Sponsor and Government Agency is defined as a business or organization applying in its official capacity through an authorized representative. The representative must provide their name, title, and business contact information and confirm they are authorized to participate on the organization’s behalf.

Your ID will be used only to verify your identity for this program and will be kept confidential. Accepted photo IDs: Driver’s license or state ID, U.S. or foreign passport, military or tribal photo ID, or another current government-issued photo ID. A REAL ID is not required. TERMS & CONDITONS: To participate in the Golden Future Adopt-A-Senior Program, you must read and agree to all seven (7) requirements outlined below.

Confidentiality & Privacy: Sponsor will receive personal information about a senior (“Senior Information”), which may include their name, age, mailing address, phone number, wish list, and any relevant personal circumstances. Sponsor agrees that all Senior Information is strictly confidential and may not be shared, distributed, posted online, or disclosed to any third party for any reason. Sponsor may not use the Senior Information for any purpose other than fulfilling their sponsorship responsibilities for this Program.Delivery & Safety Requirements: Sponsors may only deliver gifts using the method approved by the Organizer and Senior (drop-off location, mailed packages, or home delivery). If home delivery is approved by your adoptee, Sponsor agrees to: Provide advance notice AND Respect time boundaries. Limit interactions to safe, brief, and positive exchanges. Sponsors may not enter a senior’s home unless explicitly authorized by the senior.

By participating in the Adopt-A Senior Program, the Sponsor acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions. Failure to follow these Terms will result in removal from the Program and prohibition from future participation.
