About The Global Advisory Council Scholarship:

The Global Advisory Council (TGAC) envisions thriving countries that are sustainable, regenerative, safe, and eco-friendly. It starts with local communities, municipalities, city governments, public safety, and technology, that together will enable a smarter way of living and enhance the quality of life for everyone.

The Global Advisory Council is committed to supporting education and community development. This scholarship program is part of our ongoing efforts to invest in the next generation of leaders.  Our program is designed to support pursuing higher education in the field of Global Smart City Management through our partner university program with Zigurat University.

The Global Advisory Council Scholarship is a 1-year scholarship* of up to $5,000 per year, to be awarded to the person who has demonstrated:

·      Leadership

·      Academic achievement

·      Essay content

·      Positive vision for future to enhance the quality of life for everyone

*Recipient must maintain at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA while in college to retain the scholarship

The winning application will be selected by members of the The Global Advisory Council selection committee. Good luck!

Essays must be typed, double-spaced, 12-point font size.  

Complete the following:

Essay - A 1000-word essay on a specific Smart City topic that relates to sustainability  **1000-word max

Letter of Recommendation - Provide a letter of recommendation that is not a family member. Could be a co-worker, manager, mentor, etc  **500-word max

Academic or Career Achievement - Provide a list of achievements that have shaped you as person and help you grow. **500 word max

CERTIFICATION

 In submitting this application, I hereby certify the following:

1.     I am in need of this scholarship aid as set forth in this application. 

2.     I understand that The Global Advisory Council will pay the scholarship funds directly to my educational institution and that only tuition for credit courses and/or campus housing will be paid. 

3.     I agree to provide The Global Advisory Council with a copy of my tuition bill with my student ID/account number and my transcript at the beginning of each scholarship term. 

4.     I understand that this scholarship will not be retained if my cumulative GPA falls below 2.5.

5.     I hereby certify that all of the information I have provided within the entire scholarship application is true and correct to the best of my knowledge. I understand that if any information submitted with the scholarship application is determined to be false or mislead­ing (including any omission of material information), I will be disqualified from consideration for the scholarship.

Finally, I give consent to allow The Global Advisory Council use a photograph (or other likeness), as well as personal information about me (family, name, hometown, etc.), or statements for publicity purposes, which may include, but is not limited to, publication in social media, podcasts, webinars, conferences, newspapers, brochures, catalogs and The Global Advisory Council website.
