      SCOPE OF ROLE

      As part of the Digital and Channels team, you will play a key role in driving leads generation, donor acquisition, engagement, and awareness through digital, social media, and other innovative channels. Depending on your role level, you will either lead, support, or execute strategies to manage digital campaigns, optimize donor experiences, and contribute to the success of our fundraising and programmes initiatives.

       

      KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

      Team Level:

      • Develop and execute impactful digital, social media, and email marketing campaigns to support lead generation, funnel management, fundraising conversion and donor engagement.
      • Maintain and update Save the Children Hong Kong’s online presence, including website content, SEM, social media channels, donation forms, and campaign-specific pages.
      • Create compelling, engaging, creative, innovative and on brand content (text, images, videos, or HTML) to maximise ROIs across digital platforms
      • Analyse and monitor comparators’ and own campaign performance using digital analytics tools, and recommend improvements to enhance donor acquisition and retention.
      • Collaborate with internal teams, external agencies, and partners to optimize the campaign strategies and results.
      • Support brand-building initiatives to increase Save the Children Hong Kong’s visibility and recognition.
         

      We expected:

      Manager

      • Formulate and drive ambitious targets for digital fundraising.
      • Develop and implement digital strategies to enhance brand presence across channels.
      • Proactively explore and develop connections with major stakeholders
      • Lead and supervise team members and/or agencies, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Monitor and analyse channel performance metrics, using data to inform strategies and improve outcomes.

      Assistant Manager

      • Drive the implementation of communications and fundraising initiatives.
      • Assist in communicating with team members and/or agencies, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
      • Develop and curate content tailored for different digital platforms to engage target audiences. Explore partnership and new collaboration opportunities with potential donors and sponsors.
      • Collaborate with different teams in responding to ad hoc campaigns, especially humanitarian responses, in a timely manner.

       

       

      QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

      Team Level:

      • A degree in Marketing, Social Media, Business Administration, PR/Marketing Communications, or a related discipline.
      • Strong understanding of online marketing channels, social networking platforms, and analytics tools.
      • Hands on experience in SEO, SEM, CMS, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite and social listening tool is preferred.
      • Digital savvy and strong storyteller capable of crafting compelling narratives for donors across digital platforms.
      • Fluency in both written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese) and English.
      • Positive attitude, attention to detail, and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organisational abilities.
      • A proactive, adaptable, and "can-do" attitude, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
      • Adapt to sudden changes in work requirements, such as putting up an appeal within 48 hours during the onset of emergencies or large-scale disasters.
      • A good team player who can work alongside colleagues at all levels.
      • Experience in NGO setting with passion about working for and with children is an advantage.
      • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS and AI tools.
         

      We expected:

      Manager:

      • A minimum of 7 years proven working experience in promotion and digital media.  
      • Proven experience managing teams and delivering on ambitious fundraising targets.

      Assistant Manager:

      • A minimum of 4 years proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist
      • Basic photo and video editing skills are a plus.
