I will act in concert with the following:
1. Support the mission, vision, goals, annual and strategic plan of the SJC CoC
2. Act with honesty and integrity
3. Work with others to seek positive changes through ethical and constructive channels to end all homelessness in St. Johns County
4. Work with and respect the opinions of my peers who serve on the SJC CoC Membership, and leave my personal prejudices out of all SJC CoC discussions
5. Always act for the good of the SJC CoC and represent the interests of all people experiencing homelessness whom are served by the CoC
6. Represent the SJC CoC Membership in a positive and supportive manner at all times
7. Observe the parliamentary procedures and display courteous conduct at all SJC CoC General Membership meetings
8. Avoid acting in a way that represents a conflict of interest between my position as a member of the SJC CoC General Membership and my personal and/or my professional life, even if those actions appear to provide a benefit for the SJC CoC or the community. This includes using my position for the advantage of my friends and business associates. If such a conflict does arise, I will declare that conflict before the SJC CoC and refrain from voting on matters in which I have conflict

Civil rights laws including the Fair Housing Act and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1974, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Section 109 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Violence Against Women Act or substantially equivalent state or local laws.

Further, I attest that the agency I represent will:
Support the SJC CoC in achieving the main program objective, as set out in the McKinney-Vento Act, 42 U.S.C. § 11381, to optimize self-sufficiency among homeless individuals and families and to increase program effectiveness, improve innovation and accountability, restore program balance, prioritize treatment and recovery, promote economic self-sufficiency, advance public safety for all
Contribute to CoC efforts to prevent and end homelessness
Bring resources to the CoC and forming partnerships with the CoC to
strengthen the continuum, address SJC gaps in service, increase accessibility, affordability, and availability of services for those who are experiencing or are at risk of experiencing homelessness
Advocate for safe, healthy, and affordable housing for all
Coordinate with specific housing and services providers and other community partners to address homelessness via case management coordination, warm hand-offs, data sharing/collection/entry
Encourage participation from individuals with current or former experience of homelessness in planning and decision-making
