First year delegates (approx 46) give a 2 minute presentation on their area highlights. This requires approximately 90 minutes of time that could be spent on Conference business. Conversely, it provides an opportunity to learn about customs and information about areas we don’t necessarily know about.Does your group think it’s worthwhile to spend 90 minutes of Conference’s limited time on oral highlights?

Consider a request to remove the phrase, “A group may also decline to hear reports from a GSR at all” from page 10 of the AA Service Manual (PAI 72)
Should the group have the opportunity to deny the GSR the right to participate for which the GSR was elected and possibly discourage the GSR’s interest in doing service. Consider a request to reaffirm the 1975 Advisory Action that delegates emphasizes to the groups the effect that inflation has had on the “contribution dollar” and the necessity for adjusting contributions accordingly, to support services provided by the General Service Board.
Last year the Conference agreed to forward the request that delegates place more emphasis on group support.
