• PALM SUNDAY & Easter Activities

  • On Palm Sunday, Christians around the world celebrate Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem, This day oftern referred to as "Passion Sunday," marks the beginning od Holy Week, culminating in His resurrection on Easter Sunday. In Croatia, Palm Sunday is known as "Flower Sunday" (Cjetna Nedjelja or Cvijećnica). 

    Lenek invites all members of our community to celebrate and embrase the customs and traditions of our faith & culture. Join us for a meaningful day of family, tradition & togetherness.

    Schedule for the day:

    • 10:30am - Palm Sunday Mass at St Patrick's Church
    • 1:30pm - Family Easter Activites; washing of hands with freshly blessed flowers from morning Mass, Traditional Croatian Easter egg dying, decorating easter biscuits, optional colouring in
    • 5:00pm - Lenek Fmaily BBQ Dinner; open to the whole community, meals available for purchase
    • 5:45pm - Proba 
    • 7:00pm - Evening close with a visit from Easter bunny

    We kindly ask that you RSVP to participate in the Easter activities and for the Lenek Family BBQ dinner to allow us to adequately stock and cater for this event.
