  • ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS

    1. Be a citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States, 25 years or older.
    2. Always use guns safely and display good sportsmanship.
    3. Intend to be a productive, contributing member of the URSC community/members.
    4. Be legally eligible to possess, transport, or carry a firearm in any State or Commonwealth where a Chapter of URSC is formed

    If our Federal Government or any State or Commonwealth where a Chapter of URSC is formed) prohibits you from legally owning a gun, you may NOT be a member of the Umpteen Rounds Shooting Club.

    Procedures for Registering to join URSC:

    1. Complete Membership Application
    2. Read the entire Safety & Operating Rules and Sign
    3. Return signed documents with a copy of State DL or State ID, CCW
    4. Provide two (2) Character reference letters from reputable acquaintances
    5. Attend scheduled interview with URSC Members

    All newly accepted members must pay a $100.00 membership fee & must attend scheduled orientation, and each member must purchase club vests, patches, and T-shirts after 30 days of participation. Upon your decision to leave or withdraw membership from URSC, ALL MEMBERS must return all Logo patches to the club President. Patches are nonrefundable. Meetings are as scheduled by the club President or Officers. More than three (3) missed meetings in a calendar year will result in termination from the club. (Emergencies considered and excused according to severity). Failure to obtain scheduled training within 3 months of membership will also result in termination from URSC.

  • INDEMNIFICATION

  • In consideration of the membership of Umpteen Rounds Shooting Club and all privileges associated therewith, members hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Umpteen Rounds Shooting Club from any and all liability associated with any death, injury, or property damage sustained by a member or any and all guests and invitees of member while using said range facility. Member further agrees to abide by all safety and operations rules, regulations, and bylaws specified by the Umpteen Rounds Shooting Club.

  • Safety is our foremost concern. Unsafe handling or misuse of firearms is cause for dismissal from membership.

    Every club member is responsible for following and enforcing these rules.

    1) Safe gun handling is required at all times. It is the shooter’s responsibility to be familiar with the gun laws as well as the safe operation of all firearms he/she handles or uses.
    2) Eye and ear protection are mandatory for all individuals at all firearm venues, including shooters, spectators, and range personnel.
    3) No alcoholic beverages are permitted at any shooting venue, and individuals deemed unsafe are not permitted on the grounds.
    4) Any individual bringing a firearm onto meeting property must legally possess it under State and Federal laws. (Or in any State or Commonwealth where a Chapter of URSC is formed).
    5) Members are responsible for ensuring that their guests are familiar with the safe operation of all firearms or equipment they may use and that they understand and comply with these rules.
    6) ALL guests must sign the guest register in the clubhouse or meeting facility before using any firearm or archery venue. A current member must accompany all guests.
    7) NO loaded firearms are permitted in the clubhouse or meeting facility, except for a firearm you are licensed to carry concealed.
    8) If you carry a firearm, please follow all State and Federal laws in conjunction with the permit for a particular firearm. (Or laws in any State or Commonwealth where a Chapter of URSC is formed)
    9) Colors (Club identifying vests, shirts, hats, visors, armbands) are to be worn at all times when the Organization is at a shooting event, community event, any event sponsored by Umpteen Rounds or fellow Shooting Clubs and events where 3 or more members are planning to be present unless dress code prohibits our Colors/Vests
    10) Safety, integrity, and excellence should always be our goals. Under no circumstances should any member ever disrespect, shame, or harm any person, member, establishment, or the integrity of Umpteen Rounds Shooting Club.
    11) If the State where you reside does not require CCW classes or training, you will still be required to fulfill safety training to be considered for enrollment in URSC.
