    Step Ahead: Saturday Support for Lambeth FamiliesAfewee Training Centre is launching a new Saturday School Programme for pupils in Years 6–8 (ages 10–13) who live in or attend school in Lambeth.This free Maths, English, and wellbeing tuition programme is designed for families who may not have access to private tutoring due to financial or systemic barriers.To ensure a targeted impact, we prioritise pupils receiving Free School Meals, with SEND, or from single-parent households.Your child will benefit from: • High-quality English and Maths tuition • Weekly wellbeing check-ins • Confidence-building sessions • A supportive, inclusive environmentSessions run weekly from September to July, and we ask families to commit to regular attendance.We’d love to hear more about how we can support your child.       Thank you for your interest. The Step Ahead programme is currently open to pupils in Year 6 only for the 2025–26 academic year.
      We plan to expand to Year 7 and Year 8 in future years.

      Our team is trained to support students with mild to moderate SEND needs (e.g. processing difficulties, ADHD, or anxiety). While we aim to be inclusive, we may not currently have the specialist staffing or facilities to safely support children with complex or high-level needs (e.g. personal care requirements, full-time one-to-one support, or wheelchair accessibility).
