    Please review all job responsibilities below. Please note that each director has
    additional responsibilities they may ask of their student production team. Each
    director has their own requirements for their show (age of student production
    team members, which positions they are looking for, etc.) so your first choice
    may not be the show we consider you for.

    Please attach a resume with all your experience on stage, backstage, front of
    house and any other relevant work experience. All positions require the person
    to be polite, respectful, and responsible. We work with very young children
    sometimes and you are expected to be a role model for them.


    Student Director
    ● Attend almost every rehearsal throughout the summer.(1-2 conflicts are ok.)
    ● Assist during the audition workshop and auditions.
    ● Take notes during tech week.
    ● Take attendance at rehearsals.
    ● Warm the students up at each rehearsal.
    ● Block at least one scene.
    ● Generally help to manage behavior during rehearsals.
    ● Help to monitor pick up and drop off.
    ● Attend production meetings for the show.

    Student Choreographer
    ● Meet with the directors to decide which numbers you will choreograph and which numbers
    they will take on themselves.
    ● Help to choreograph and teach the audition dance at the audition workshop.
    ● Assist at auditions.
    ● Work with the directors to decide which rehearsals you will need to teach your numbers.
    ● Warm the students up at each dance rehearsal that you need to attend.
    ● Attend one production meeting for the show.
    ● Attend tech week to take dance notes and clean dances.
    ● Film and upload dance videos to the website.

    Student Music Director
    ● Help to teach the audition songs at the audition workshop.
    ● Assist at auditions.
    ● Attend every rehearsal through out the summer (1-2 conflicts are ok.)
    ● Vocally warm up the students at each rehearsal you attend.
    ● Assist in teaching music during rehearsal.
    ● Assist in coaching leads/sub-leads in their vocal performance.
    ● Piano experience is recommended.
    ● Attend one production meeting for the show.
    ● Upload learning tracks for different voice parts to the website (piano tracks preferred.)

    Stage Manager
    ● Attend required training (Date will be arranged with selected applicants)
    ● Attend all production meetings.
    ● Gather the tech team for the show.
    ● Meet with the directors to understand the general technical needs of the show.
    ● Attend at least 4 rehearsals before tech week with:

    oThe sound designer
    o The lighting designer
    o The ASMs

    ● Create a call script for the show based off these rehearsals.
    ● Attend all of tech week and call the shows.

    Student Social Media and PR Manager
    ** We are looking for someone with exemplary grammar and spelling. **
    ● Attend 1 rehearsal each week for each show to take pictures.This can be for a short 15 minute
    visit or more depending on your needs.
    ● Manage our Instagram by posting once a week for each show.This can be a combined post
    that involves all 4 shows, 4 separate posts, or a combination.
    ● Interview/take photos of ensemble members from each show to create “Cricket Chirps”
    based on the template provided to you.
    ● Create a unique hashtag for each show.
    ● Work with the PR volunteers from each show to plan a creative marketing event for each show.
    In the past we have done public performances, photo shoots, and trailers.This is not your
    main responsibility, but you should be the liaison between the 4 shows to make sure there are
    not conflicting plans.
    ● Go above and beyond by coming up with creative social media ideas to promote ticket sales!
