Coaching Preferences For Lessons
Coaching Preferences & Lesson Availability: We do our best to accommodate coaching preferences; however, due to the high demand for certain coaches and the limited availability of private lessons, we cannot guarantee specific coach assignments. While we strive to match preferences as best as possible, every camper will receive high-quality instruction from our world-class coaching staff. Please provide as many options as possible. You can view the coaches available on our website.
SMALL GROUP SESSIONS
Duration: 40 minutes
Group Size: 3-6 students of similar level

ABOUT:
Small group sessions provide a focused training environment where students work with an elite coach to refine tactics and strategies through drills, corrections, and demonstrations. These sessions also allow fencers to apply what they’ve learned in private lessons against live opponents in a high-intensity, high-feedback setting, gaining hundreds of quality repetitions of key fencing actions against comparable competitors to enhance their execution and adaptability.

They can also include fencing sessions with some of our Harvard Varsity team members who are assisting and being counselors at the camp.

PRIVATE LESSONS AT CAMP:
Duration: 30 Minutes
Group Size: One-on-one

Important Scheduling Information
If you’re familiar with how lessons are scheduled during the regular season, camp works differently:
- Your child will be assigned a lesson or small group session on a specific day, but the day and time listed is just a placeholder.
- The actual schedule is determined by the coaches at camp, and they will inform
  students when their session will take place.
- There is no need to email us if a lesson doesn’t happen at the exact scheduled time—this is normal, and sessions will be adjusted as needed.
Coach Assignments & Lesson Preferences
We do our best to match students with their preferred coaches, but due to demand, we cannot guarantee specific coach assignments.

However, every student will receive high-quality instruction from one of our elite coaches, ensuring a great learning experience regardless of coach availability.

Roommate Preferences
Roommate Preferences:
All rooms are double occupancy, and we will do our best to accommodate roommate preferences, though we cannot guarantee all requests. Feel free to list multiple names. If a preferred roommate match isn’t possible due to multiple requests for the same person, we will group campers in nearby dorm locations. Additionally, we roommate preferences must be of similar age, gender and weapon type to ensure the best experience for all campers based on how travel groups are done.

If you cannot attend everyday, please tell us more about your plans. Or if you have other scheduling considerations, please let us know here and any specifics. Please Note: We CANNOT pro-rate the camp even if you cannot attend every day. The school requires us to pay a full session rate for all students so you will need to pay for a full session regardless of being able to attend everyday)If you cannot attend everyday of camp or will be arriving early or late, please tell us your schedule information below.
