And acknowledgment of Orthodox Church membership
  • THE NICENE CREED

I BELIEVE IN ONE GOD, THE FATHER ALMIGHTY, MAKER OF HEAVEN AND EARTH AND OF ALL THINGS VISIBLE AND INVISIBLE.

AND IN ONE LORD JESUS CHRIST, THE SON OF GOD, THE ONLY-BEGOTTEN, BEGOTTEN OF THE FATHER BEFORE ALL AGES. LIGHT OF LIGHT; TRUE GOD OF TRUE GOD; BEGOTTEN, NOT MADE; OF ONE ESSENCE WITH THE FATHER, BY WHOM ALL THINGS WERE MADE; WHO FOR US MEN AND FOR OUR SALVATION CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN, AND WAS INCARNATE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE VIRGIN MARY, AND BECAME MAN. AND HE WAS CRUCIFIED FOR US UNDER PONTIUS PILATE, AND SUFFERED, AND WAS BURIED. AND THE THIRD DAY HE AROSE AGAIN, ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES, AND ASCENDED INTO HEAVEN, AND SITS AT THE RIGHT HAND OF THE FATHER; AND HE SHALL COME AGAIN WITH GLORY TO JUDGE THE LIVING AND THE DEAD; WHOSE KINGDOM SHALL HAVE NO END.

AND IN THE HOLY SPIRIT, THE LORD, THE GIVER OF LIFE, WHO PROCEEDS FROM THE FATHER; WHO WITH THE FATHER AND THE SON TOGETHER IS WORSHIPPED AND GLORIFIED; WHO SPOKE BY THE PROPHETS.

IN ONE HOLY, CATHOLIC, AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH. I ACKNOWLEDGE ONE BAPTISM FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS. I LOOK FOR THE RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD AND THE LIFE OF THE WORLD TO COME. AMEN.

  • Tuition Policies:

NOTE: These policies are stated in the Fee Schedule provided in the previous section, but the policies are stated here again to ensure that you have read and agree to them.

    Monthly Class Fees:

Class fees are payable over nine months and are payable directly to each teacher via check or cash. Checks are made out to the individual teachers, not to the Co-op or to the church. However, for ease of administration and record-keeping, the Co-op takes care of recording the payments and then distributes them to the teachers. The payments must be submitted in the Co-op payment box located in the Saint Sava parish hall. Payments are due by the 1st of each month in nine equal installments beginning September 1st through May 1st.

    Late Fee:

Monthly class payments are due by the 1st of the month. Payments are counted and distributed on the next Wednesday after the first of the month, and families paying after that Wednesday will be assessed a late fee (payable to the St. Sava Cooperative School) of $20.

    Annual Registration Fee

Annual registration fees are used to cover costs such as supplies, books, and Co-op events. The Co-op provides most of the supplies the students need and most of the non-consumable books as well. The registration fee is as follows:

$135/year for each full-time 1st-6th grade student and for each middle/high school student

    $90/year for each half-day PreK-6th grade student

Registration fees are due by June 15, 2025 and are non-refundable after July 15, 2025. The registration fee will not be refunded if your child withdraws from the school during the school year, but you will not be obligated to pay future months of tuition.

Registration fees may be paid via cash or check made payable to "St. Sava Cooperative School". Please include on the memo line - "Registration". Cash should be in an envelope labeled "SSOC co-op registration" and must clearly state the name of the family registering.

Registration fees may be placed in the Co-op Payment Box in the Parish Hall, OR mailed to the Church office at:

    1601 S. Jupiter Rd., Allen, TX 75002

  • Volunteer Requirements:

Each family with a full-time student enrolled is expected to fulfill a weekly volunteer requirement. We have broken the schedule into half day shift times.

Examples of how you may be asked to volunteer during these hours would include working as:

Lunch monitor, recess monitor, floater/general assistant, teacher/room assistant, babysitter for young children and babies of teachers, or childcare assistant, student release duty.

Grandparents, or other responsible family members, may complete volunteer requirements for a family.

Please select all half-day shifts for which you are available to volunteer. Also, please let us know in the comments your top choice for a half-day shift, or if you are unavailable for a half-day but would be able to fulfill another volunteer arrangement (for example, maybe you can't do a half-day but you are available to cover the dismissal time each day or to be the lunch monitor two days per week).

  • Please Select your Preferred Time(s) to Volunteer as Needed at School:
  • Middle/High School Student Class Selections

If you have no students taking middle/high school classes (7th grade and above), you may skip this section by scrolling to the bottom and clicking the "Continue" button.
  • Middle and high school students are allowed to select classes individually to take and may take only the classes that they need. In this section, you will make your class selections for your middle/high school children.

A standard full-time student at the Co-op takes four core academic classes - math, language arts, science, and history - plus music, Christian instruction, and PE. Those options are presented below. If your high-school child will be a part-time student, please select "N/A" for any classes they will not be taking at the Co-op.

The anticipated schedule and fees for these classes are shown in the Fee Schedule and Middle/High School Schedule documents. Detailed descriptions of the classes and curricula are presented in the 2025-2026 Middle/High School Course Catalog. While we do not anticipate changes to the schedule at this point, it is possible that changes could occur, and we will communicate with you ASAP if they do.
