  • 💫This immersive exhibition highlights a congruence of works that combine the arts of movement, film and expressive-creative therapies, in a showcase of selected works by Konrad Mihat from coVR Videos that explore immersive video's role in performative and therapeutic settings.

  • 💫About the presented works

    Danstopic Panoramic, 11', 2021,exposes the experience of an interrogation of dance and suggests a way for the audience to access their own bodies.  Developed in co-production with IndieBox, exhibited originally as a site specific experience at AREAL space for choreographic development, co-financed by AFCN.  

  • Amniotic Arthera(pi), 8'09" ,2023 is a multiple award winning immersive film, an artistic interpretation regarding amniotic therapy that tries to convey in words and feeling the interior and exterior processes of this therapeutic method, aimed mainly for battling psychosis, but with therapeutic effects for any participant. 

  • Touch Xthera(pi), 22', 2024, brings the first public screening with VR headsets of a series of 5 short panoramic films, that contain meditations, thoughts and information related and performed by participants in "The curative-performative values of touch" residency developed by Entuziart Association and co-financed by AFCN.

  • 💫About the author:

    Konrad Mihat is a visual media creator specializing in panoramic photography and video. He studied film production at Babeș-Bolyai University. In college, he co-directed a short film screened at TIFF and Giornate del Cinema Muto in 2008. In 2011, he joined Casa Lupu, a cultural community in Bucharest. He co-founded Calup in 2012, focusing on urban regeneration through cultural events. For these projects in 2013 he started experimenting with panoramic photography for virtual reality.In 2017, he founded coVR Videos, creating panoramic video and photography for various projects for VR headsets and media installations. In 2021 through collaboration with IndieBox and AREAL he  directed his first panoramic dance film for VR headsets, Danstopic Panoramic, and at the same time with Loredana Larionescu, Entuziart, started exploring the therapeutic potential of panoramic video. Currently, he continues to collaborate on therapeutic projects involving new technologies like 360 video and VR tours, creating artistic content for these endeavors.
