    LLAMA APPRECIATION DAY CHALLENGE

  • Use this form to get started with your "Challenge Event". Anyone with camelids or any group supporting camelids can participate. We will keep track of your efforts and if you are in the state that has the greatest number of events, you will be a CHALLENGE winner.

  • Remember, National Llama Appreciation Day is June 21. Your event must take place in the month of June. This year June 21 is a Saturday so this weekend is ideal for an event.

  • Here is what you need to provide on this form:

    • Information about you, your farm, or the group you represent.
    • Brief description of your intended event.
    • An indication of what you might need from GALA to support your event.  See List below.
    • Guidance on how you might like GALA to help promote your event.

        

  • Other important information:

    • To be eligible for the competition, you will need to report on your event via an electronic form like this one.
    • On that form, we will be asking for additional information about your event such as location, number of attendees and maybe some photos.
    • This information will be requested sometime in June.

        

  • You do not need to be a member of GALA to participate in the Challenge. However, if you would like to join, just go to our website and sign up.
