    Please read and understand all Market Guidelines

    ·       The market will occur during the Slo-Pitch 4 A Wish Event on Saturday, September 6th at Little Mountian Sportsplex

    ·       Market opens at 10:00am and closes at 6:00pm.

    ·       Vendors can begin setting up any time after 8:30am.

    ·       Vendors must be present at the market and checked in by 9:45am.

    ·       If you have not checked in by 9:45am, we, QX104FM and Pattison Media, reserve the right to replace your spot with a new vendor.

    ·       Vendors cannot begin to pack up until 6:00pm, weather conditions permitting.

    ·       Vendors must be off the Market site by 6:30pm.

    ·       The Market Representative will take in consideration all requests but is not required to fulfill any request.

    ·       It is not the responsibility of the Market staff to keep your products cold, hot, or protected. It is the responsibility of the vendor to maintain their own products.

    ·       Parking is available adjacent to the Market site. Vehicles will not be permitted on the Market site.

    ·       Public washrooms are located inside the clubhouse.

  • Please read and understand all Market Rules and Regulations

    1.    All vendors will be notified of their acceptance with an official letter. Submission of an application does not guarantee inclusion at the Slo-Pitch 4 A Wish vendor market. Your application will go through an approval process.

    2.    There will be no tear down or removal of vendor booths prior to 5:00pm the day of the market. (Weather conditions permitting) This applies to vendors who sell out of products prior to closing.

    3.    Vendors are responsible for the set up and take down of their own booth as well as the clean-up necessary within their allotted area.

    4.    Staking down of tents/canopies/umbrellas is MANDATORY. Exact stake measurments will be provided to the successful applicants

    5.    All vendors are required to clean up their site by 6:00pm. Water and ice are not permitted to be dumped on Market site. Keep in mind of appropriate drainage.

    6.    Vendors are required to supply their own tables, chairs, and tents as well as any other required equipment necessary.

    7.    Vendors and their signage and products must not encroach into their neighbours' space.

    8.    Market staff reserve the right to relocate vendors' booths due to extenuating circumstances. There is no absolute guarantee of booth positioning. Requests are considered and all efforts to accommodate everyone will be made.

    9. Vendor booths may not exceed the measurements of 10'X10'. Vendor spots will be marked out prior to the market.

    10. Vendors are not permitted to lend their booths out to anyone without written consent of QX104FM and Pattison Media.

    11. Vendors are not permitted to have pets on the Market site.

    12. Smoking and/or using a vaporizer is not permitted on the Market site.

    13. The use of alcohol and/or illegal substances are strictly prohibited on the Market site.

    14. There is no power provided to any of the sites. Any cords from your own power source must be tucked away.

    15. Generators and other equipment required to produce excessive noise are not permitted unless otherwise prearranged with the Market Representative. Generators must have a DB level of 75 or lower.

    16. Parked vehicles will not be permitted on the Market site unless otherwise arranged with the Market Representative

    17. QX104FM, Pattison Media and the Slo-Pitch 4 A Wish event does not tolerate inappropriate behaviour including verbal abuse. physical assault, and/or harassment. If inappropriate action is reported, you may be asked to leave. Failure to comply will result with the involvement of local authorities.

    18. Vendors are required to give a minimum of two weeks notice of cancellation. Once a Vendor has cancelled, their spot will be given to the next person on the waiting list.

    19. There will be no refunds of Vendor fees due to Vendor unavailability, Vendor cancellation or due to Market cancellations as a result of unforeseen circumstances.

    20.  All vendor fees must be paid prior to your application being considered.

    21. In cases of bad weather, cancellation or early closure will be determined that day by the Market Representative. Vendors are still required to show up as booked in their application, unless otherwise notified by the Market Representative. In cases of rain (light showers/down pours), vendors have the option to pack up their product if it is at risk of damage but shall remain on the site unless approved to leave the site by the Market Representative. In cases of consistent lightning/thunder. the Market may cancel for part or all of the day. Cancellation and closures of the Market in all circumstances will be determined at the discretion of the Market Representative.

  • TERMS OF AGREEMENT: 

    I hereby apply to be a vendor at the Slo-Pitch 4 A Wish Vendor Market (“the market”) produced by QX104FM and Pattison Media. I understand that space allocated by the Market Coordinator is based on the requirements I have submitted, and on the appropriate allocation of space to create a viable vendor market mix. I understand that the Market Coordinator will make every effort to accommodate my requests but cannot provide a guarantee. I understand that my participation in the market is entirely at my own risk. Neither the QX104FM, Pattison Media nor any other party are responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items occurring before, during or after the Market.

    In accordance with Manitoba laws this market does not tolerate aggressive behavior, verbal abuse, or harassment towards board members, staff, fellow vendors, customers, visitors, or volunteers. Inappropriate action may result in refusal of service, being asked to leave, or contacting local authorities. The Managers hold the right to ask anyone upsetting the harmonious operation of the market to leave the premises or remove them from the market.

    I understand that not all applicants are granted space at the Market and that it is the right and responsibility of the Market Coordinator to decide allocation of space. I understand that I can be removed from the market if the Market Coordinator feels I am not abiding by the rules and expectations that are set for vendors in the Market.

    By accepting this agreement, I declare the information on this form to be complete and accurate and I agree to pay the rates as set out in this document. I understand that methods of payment are online. I understand that market fee payments are non-refundable except in the case of a change or cancelation of the Market by the QX104FM and Pattison Media.

    I agree to comply with the Province of Manitoba’s current public health orders. I understand that restrictions can change at any time resulting in a change or cancelation of the Market, which could mean my participation may no longer be possible. I understand that QX104FM and Pattison Media has full ability to terminate my participation in the market if I fail to comply with public health orders put in place by the Province of Manitoba.

    I agree to act respectful and reasonable towards contractors, staff, volunteers, other vendors, board members, market patrons or members of the public at all times. Failure to comply with this policy could result in termination of my participation in the market at any time, with no notice required.

  • VENDOR PHOTO AND VIDEO RELEASE FORM

    One way that QX104FM and Pattison Media supports vendors and their businesses is through marketing and communication mediums such as social media and printed promotional materials. We (QX104FM and Pattison Media) often take photos and videos of our vendors, their products, their booths, and the entire market. We occasionally hire a photographer and/or videographer to take professional photos as well.  

    As a vendor at the Slo-Pitch 4 A Wish Vendor Market (“the market”), I hereby grant permission to QX104FM and Pattison Media the rights of my image, in video or still, and of the likeness and sound of my voice as recorded on audio or video tape without payment or any other consideration.  

    I understand that my images or images of my products and services may be edited, copied, exhibited, published, or distributed and waive the right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of my image or recording.  

    I further grant QX104FM and Pattison Media the right to create derivative works of these images and recordings in any media now known or later developed as well as my name for promoting, publicizing, or explaining the Slo-Pitch 4 A Wish Event and its activities.  I acknowledge that QX104FM and Pattison Media owns all rights to the images and recordings.  I acknowledge that I am over the age of 18 years.  

  • I * understand that the vendor releases the Slo-Pitch 4 A Wish Committee, Slo-Pitch 4 A Wish Event, QX104FM, Pattison Media and the host location, or any of its assignees and employees, from any injury or damage incurred by the vendor. The vendor also releases the Slo-Pitch 4 A Wish Committee, Slo-Pitch 4 A Wish Event, QX104FM, Pattison Media, the host location and its organizers from all liability and responsibility for any theft or damage to goods included in the display during and/or after the market.
