2025 Federal Immigration Impacts
Federal policy changes are directly attacking us as workers—freezing research funding, threatening international/undocumented scholars, and rolling back trans and nonbinary rights. These are attacks on the broader academic labor movement, and we won’t stand by. UAW 4121 members are organizing to fight back, just as we always have. Fill out this survey to share how the travel ban may impact you and your research, and connect with fellow union members taking action.
Privacy & Safety Note:
We take the safety of our community members seriously. Given the sensitive nature of the information you are sharing with us, your responses will remain confidential to the UAW 4121 Executive Board, Unit Leadership of ASE, PD and RSE respectively, and individual organizers directly involved with responding to the travel ban. The full list of union representatives is available here: https://www.uaw4121.org/about/leadership/. If you prefer to share your story in a different format, or would like to meet with an organizer before completing the survey, please reach out to your steward or another trusted organizer. You are also welcome to contact the International Solidarity Working Group (intl-workgroup@uaw4121.org). Please do NOT share sensitive information in your initial email. We will connect you with an individual organizer.
